Wildlife Abatement Operations

Abatement Operations seek to control the population of many animals within a set areaThe staff of Deer Proof, Inc. is licensed by the State of Georgia (Permanent Commercial Trapping License Number #22495) to conduct nuisance wildlife trapping and removal operations. Deer Proof, Inc.'s staff will comply with O.C.G.A. 27-5-6 regarding the humane handling, care, confinement, and transportation of wild animals. In doing so, every effort will be taken to minimize any adverse impact to the surrounding habitat or environment.

The staff of Deer Proof, Inc. is authorized to trap non-endangered nuisance wildlife at times outside the legal trapping season as specified below.

Authorized trapping methods are listed below. Any other method of trapping or removal any wildlife species not authorized in the schedule below must be specifically approved by D.N.R. Special Permit Unit.
